Funktionsbeschreibung
Die SPATZ HDMI/DVI Umschalter schalten alle HDMI und DVI
Signale, die HDMI 1.2 HDCP 1.1 und DVI 1.0 kompatibel sind.
Die Switcher schalten auch 8-Kanal PCM, wie es von den
meisten HD Quellen ausgegeben wird. DOLBY DIGITAL
TRUEHD und DTS-HD wird dabei von der Quelle dekodiert und
als Bitstream an den Receiver übergeben.
Selbstverständlich ist der Umschalter mit allen anderen
Signalarten abwärtskompatibel.
Die Eingänge können zyklisch mit dem Fronttaster angewählt
werden, oder direkt mit der Infrarotfernbedienung umgeschaltet
werden.
Für die Integration in eine Automation bieten die Geräte eine
serielle Schnittstelle, die mit allen gängigen
Steuerungssystemen genutzt werden kann.
Die Signal Enhance Funktion kann Kabelverluste bis 10 m
ausgleichen, bei längeren Kabeln empfehlen wir unsere
speziellen Kabelequalizer.

Functional description
The SPATZ HDMI/DVI switchers offer the choice of 4
HDMI/DVI or 8 HDMI/DVI inputs depending on model.
The units are fully compatible with HDMI 1.2 HDCP 1.1 and DVI
1.0 standard capable of passing even 8-channel PCM sound
found on most HD sources.
The DOLBY DIGITAL TRUEHD and DTS-HD are decoded by
the player and reencoded to an 8 channel bitstream that is
passed to the receiver through our switchers.
They are fully downward compatible to older HDMI and DVI
standards
Inputs maybe switched with the front button or direct acces via
IR remote or RS-232 control.
The signal enhance function can compensate longer cable runs
up to 10m. For longer cables we recommend our HDMI or DVI
cable equalizers that can compensate for up to 40 db signal
attenuation.
All switchers may be controlled by AMX, CRESTRON, Control4
or any other automation systems.
